Our purpose and vision

A Revival Church

Faith Baptist is a church that still believes in revival.  Psalms 85:6 asks the question, “Wilt Thou not revive us again:” This is our constant desire and prayer.  If you are tired of how far from God our society has gone, you desire a Spiritual Oasis and a refreshing from the Lord; come and experience revival with us.

A Family Church

Families are a priority at Faith Baptist Church.  Certain facets of society today have torn the family apart.  We are committed to restoring and strengthening the Christian family.  The local church is one of the great adhesives that our God has provided that holds families together.

An Old Fashioned Church

We are old fashioned enough to still believe the King James Bible is the Word of God.  Others have departed from the King James Version, but not Faith Baptist Church.

We are old fashioned enough to still believe God has chosen the “…foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”  Preaching is restored to a place of respectability once again.

We are old fashioned enough to still believe God hears and answers prayer.  God’s presence and power is humbly sought at every service.

We are old fashioned enough to still believe in standards of separation from all worldliness, yet we are not legalists.  We champion the true doctrine of grace.

A Soul-Winning Church

The early new Testament Church was a Soul Winning Church.  Acts 2:47 states, “The Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”  God honored their daily efforts at attempting to lead lost souls to saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.  It’s our firm desire and God-given conviction to be filled with the Spirit and experience God using us in reaching the unsaved as He did in the early days of the church.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible, in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Birth the blood atonement, the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and His personal and visible return to the earth for the rapture of His Saints, and then; seven years later, His return in power and great glory to set up His earthly Kingdom.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God…That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

II Tim. 3:16a-17
